This statement discloses the practice of the privacy of information of New Millennium Publishing Ltd, publisher of Islamic Banking & Finance magazine and the Islamic banking and Finance website. For the purposes of distributing Islamic Banking & Finance magazine  by post, New Millennium Publishing (NMP) Ltd requires names and terrestial  addresses. In order to ensure Internet orders are fulfilled, NMP requires email addresses, telephone numbers and payment details, such as credit card information. Islamic Banking & Finance is  committed to keeping information given by all of its customers confidential. This encompasses all personally identifiable  information collected – names, terrestial and email addresses and telephone numbers. NMP does not store, or hold on record, any financial details, such as credit card information.

 

Any inaccuracies can be corrected by writing to: info@islamicbankingandfinance.com. Any alterations that need to be made must be clearly indicated.

 

New Millennium Publishing Ltd is the sole owner of information collected on the Islamic Banking & Finance website. New Millennium Publishing will not sell, share, or rent this information to others, and it will be used only by New Millennium Publishing in direct connection with Islamic Banking & Finance products.


Orders

We request information from the user on the Islamic Banking & Finance order form. Here a user must provide contact information (such as name and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number and expiry date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer’s orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used in correspondence.


Delivery, Including Refunds of Cancelled Subscriptions

All orders will be shipped within three working days of receipt. Subscribers can apply for refunds to cancel existing subscriptions, which will be apportioned on the number of issues remaining on the subscription minus an administration charge of £5 (five pounds).

A ‘cookie’ is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. New Millennium Publishing does not use cookies on the Islamic Banking & Finance website. NMP uses IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of web browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox becomes locked. While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. All information is used only at the time of a terrestial mailing or emailing. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email.
